or opt for another quiet area with beautiful beaches , luxury clubs and nature located in thre north of the island,m not far from the airport such as:

- Surin Layan,
while if you are looking for a middle ground and do not want to stay too far from services and Patong Beach the heart of nightlife there are very nice areas like Kamala or Karon beach.
There are beaches and beautiful accommodation also in the eastern part of the island, but it is busier due to the presence of many tourist and commercial ports .
also the tide withdraws the sea for several hours of the day and due to the shape of the seabed and for the marine tides the sea withdraws a lot.
