stato costruito nel 1837,<\/p>\n<p>formato da una serie di edifici anche di diversi piani ed uno in legno in tipico stile orientale attorno ai giardini ben curati.<\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;edificio pi\u00f9 importante \u00e8 il Grande Chedi, chiamato Phra Mahathat Chedi e al suo interno, sulla cima di un pennacchio ci sono frammenti di ossa del Buddha.<\/p>\n<p>All&#8217;interno ci sono numerose statue religiose e le pareti sono decorate con affreschi.<\/p>\n<p>Salendo sulla terrazza si pu\u00f2 ammirare il complesso e forse assistere alle esplosioni di petardi per intimidazione dei demoni.<\/p>\n<h5>COSE DA VEDERE A PHUKET<\/h5>\n<p>Da non perdere oltre la visita dei punti panoramici a Phuket una sosta al <strong>Tempio di Karon<\/strong> ben rifinito e ornato, segue il Wat Chalong e il <a href=\"http:\/\/www.renthomevillaphuket.com\/home\/big-buddha-phuket-island\/\">Grande Buddha<\/a> (a soli 15 km dalla citt\u00e0 di Phuket),<\/p>\n<p>considerato tra i siti religiosi pi\u00f9 importanti e venerati sull\u2019 isola.<\/p>\n<p>Phuket \u00e8 infatti considerata una delle destinazioni pi\u00f9 scelte dai turisti di tutto il mondo,<\/p>\n<p>soprattutto ci\u00f2 che colpisce di piu&#8217;
